MISSION

To provide reinforcement and augment workforce with professional, competent and highly capable personnel to support all line units of RMFB, NCRPO and to the five (5) Police districts.

VISSION

By the year 2020, the 5th Mobile Force Company will be the premier reinforcement unit of RMFB continuously providing quality refresher trainings to supplement workforce of proficient and well-trained PNP personnel for a safer Metro Manila to live, work and do business.

COMPANY BACKGROUND

The 5th Mobile Force Company, also known as Provisional Company was created on June 27, 2013 by the former Battalion Commander, PSSUPT TYRON V MASIGON. There were five (5) Company Commanders who led this company since it was established. First, PSINSP DUNDEE E BAYABAN led the company for three months. Second, PSINSP REX T PASCUA JR led on July 25, 2013 to September 11, 2014. Third, it was PSINSP WILMAR M BINAG who led from September 11, 2014 to April 13, 2015 followed by PCINSP RODRIGO E HERNANDEZ JR who led from April 13, 2015 to March 22, 2017. On March 31, 2017 up to present, PSINSP NORWARE V TAMBARA has been in command. This company was renamed 5th MFC during the time of PSSUPT LIMUEL E OBON.

COMPANY BEST PRACTICES/ Skills Enhancement

CDM Drills and Exercises: This activity aims to enhance the skills of the personnel in CDM tactics, transforming them to become more proficient and competent, ready to be deployed to any civil disturbance in the future

Gun Safety and Firearm Proficiency: This company conducts firearms proficiency and Gun Safety Seminars to all 5th MFC personnel in order to familiarize them in basic marksmanship and basic handling of short firearm to be more effective, competent and capable during the performance of their duty.

First Aid/Search and Rescue Training: This activity enhances the ability of the personnel and prepares them in providing first aid during Search and Rescue Operations.

Defense Tactics: This training aims to equip all personnel with Self-defense and Disarming Techniques to enhance self-defense by improving their physical and mental power in rowdy situation without violating human rights considering that the use of firearm is allowed only as last resort.
